Aloha and welcome to Dragonfly Productions' world of Hula! We have an amazing show we call 'Rock-A-Luau' 'Rock-A-Luau' is an exciting show that mixes traditional Hawaiian hula, the fast paced hip movements of Tahitian dance, dramatic fire acts, and finally finishes with audience participation, where everyone can learn how to move like a real hula dancer! The dancers use instruments and props, including ipu (gourd drum), 'uli'ulis (feathered gourd rattles), i'is (hand tassels) and more to add sound, color, and energy to compliment the music and dancers movements. The show has fire dances, sure to amaze any audience. If fire is not desired, these dances are simply replaced by non-fire numbers. Towards the end of the show is audience participation, where everyone can learn some real hula dance moves. Then we party on with the limbo! This is the perfect show for your luau event!
